This access is required because Android does not provide a public API for detecting microphone usage directly. MicGuard does not use this service to read user data, collect personal information, perform screen interactions, or record audio. The AccessibilityService is used strictly to detect microphone state changes in support of the app’s core privacy feature. 🚫 Important Limitations (Please Read): Due to Android system restrictions, this app cannot identify which specific app is using the microphone.
