Surge today, rest tomorrow. Switch on and off — no streaks, no guilt.
"Is today a day you can go — or a day to rest?" Surge is a task manager built around the fact that you have waves. With an up or down swipe, you declare today as a "surge" day or a "rest" day. The declaration is tied only to that date. When the date changes it resets automatically — no streaks, no penalties carried over. There is no yardstick counting your effort, by design. Most task apps are built on the assumption that you keep going every day. The streak turns red when it breaks, and skipped days stay on the record. Good days feel great. But for people whose energy comes in waves, that quietly becomes pressure. On a day you choose "rest," the task list itself quietly disappears. Nothing undone is in sight, so you don't pile up guilt on rest days. On a "surge" day, tasks appear and you face only what matters today. Go all in on days you go, fully stop on days you rest. It fits people who want to switch on and off on their own rhythm, and who work in short, focused bursts. Stray thoughts go into Ideas, ready for whenever. In the review, you can look at your surge days and rest days for the month as a calendar, a waveform, or dots — not to judge more or less, but simply to see the shape of your own waves. There are four color palettes and light / dark / system appearance. All data stays only on your device. There is no server transmission, no account, and we never collect your data on our side. No ads, no usage analytics. It works fully offline. You don't have to be the same every day. Choose your own days to surge, and to rest. Honest task management for the you of today — with Surge.
