Obscura

Obscura is a 1v1 turn-based psychological strategy multi-play game focused on tracking and deduction. Two hunters face each other on an 8x8 board shrouded in complete darkness. Players cannot see the enemy or the map, relying instead on limited clues such as traces, distance information, and sound cues. Each turn, Action Points are spent to move, use skills, or attempt a capture. The main objective is to correctly predict the opponent’s exact position and capture them for an instant win. Early turns emphasize cautious scouting and mind games, while later turns shift into direct, high-risk confrontation. If no capture occurs, visible target objectives determine the outcome, adding pressure and opportunities for deception. Obscura delivers short, tense matches where victory depends not on speed, but on reading the opponent and making the right decision at the right moment.
