FloridaReady is a free educational app designed to help students explore careers and plan for life after high school. FloridaReady supports middle school and high school students as they learn about career options, future pathways, and goal setting. The app provides guided educational activities and personalized insights to help students think about college, careers, and next steps in a safe and supportive environment. FloridaReady is designed to complement existing school programs and may also be used independently by students and families. What FloridaReady Helps Students Do: • Explore career options and job ideas • Learn about pathways after high school • Reflect on interests and goals • Build future readiness skills • Use an education-focused app designed for students Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use: FloridaReady uses artificial intelligence to provide educational guidance and personalized suggestions. AI features are designed to: • Support learning and exploration • Avoid making high-stakes or automated decisions • Include safety guardrails appropriate for student use AI does not replace educators, counselors, or parents. Student Privacy & Data Use: FloridaReady collects only the information necessary to provide app functionality, such as basic account information and in-app activity. • Student data is not sold • Student data is not used for advertising • Data is handled using student-privacy-focused practices Important Information for Families: • FloridaReady is not part of Florida’s official curriculum • The app does not currently integrate with third-party tools • FloridaReady is free for students FloridaReady is built to support students as they learn, explore, and plan for the future in a responsible, age-appropriate way.
