Town of Plainfield

The Town of Plainfield is located southwest of Indianapolis near the Indianapolis International Airport. With a population of more than 30,000, it is the second largest town in the state of Indiana. Plainfield is known for its trail system of more than 20 miles, the Al & Jan Barker Sports Complex that hosts regional baseball and soccer tournaments, and its recreation and aquatic center that includes Splash Island, a 4.3 acre Caribbean-themed outdoor water park. The Town also has one of the lowest tax rates in the greater Indianapolis area.
