Magnífico Douro Boat Tours

The Magnifico Douro App will allow you to listen to comments about the river, the wine and the vineyards while you sail on one of Magnifico Douro's boats. The comments are contextualised, referring to what you're seeing at the moment, and each one is triggered by the position of the boat. We have open and closed rabelo boats, so we can sail in any weather conditions. The app only uses GPS position information so it can locate the user and present the right audio content at specific locations. This information is not stored, used or transferred to anyone. The app uses GPS tracking even when running in the background, so that it can continue to operate and detect the locations where the audio clips should be played. This means the screen does not need to be on at all times for the app to play the audio clips at the correct locations.
