SteganoMama: Hide your message

Stegano Mama helps you hide text messages inside PNG and JPG files and protect them with a password. Choose an image, enter a message and password, save a new container file, and share it with another person. Before embedding, the message is encrypted locally on your device. The encryption key is derived from your password with Argon2id, and the data is protected with AES-GCM. Each message uses a unique salt and nonce. Passwords and plaintext messages are not stored in the app history. Main features: - hide text inside PNG and JPG containers; - extract hidden text with the correct password; - choose the output format: PNG or JPEG; - verify file integrity with SHA-256; - keep an operation history without storing passwords or original messages; - copy extracted text and SHA-256 values to the clipboard with automatic cleanup; - privacy settings for history cleanup, clipboard cleanup, and sensitive-state cleanup when the app goes to the background; - local Argon2id benchmark with a device-specific preset recommendation; - clear warnings for oversized files and explicit feedback for wrong passwords. Stegano Mama uses Android's system file picker. The app does not require an account and is designed for local data processing on your device. Important: the generated container must be shared as a file. If you send it as a regular photo, a messenger, gallery, or cloud service may recompress it, remove service data, and damage the hidden message. The app is useful for private notes, short messages, codes, hints, and other information that you want to store or share in a less obvious form.
