The Economic Company is a professional organization that serves as the executive arm of the Municipality of Rahat, responsible for managing projects efficiently and with fast response times. The company acts as an economic catalyst for the development and advancement of the city of Rahat through entrepreneurship and economic development, making optimal use of the resources available to it for the benefit of the city’s residents and local businesses. The Economic Company began its operations in July 2017 as a municipal corporation wholly owned by the Municipality of Rahat. It serves as the municipality’s extended arm in carrying out construction and rehabilitation projects, as well as in managing and operating public institutions. Since the start of its activities, the Economic Company has undertaken infrastructure rehabilitation projects throughout the city, constructed kindergartens, renovated the Abu Klika Center in Rahat, and manages the city’s populated industrial zone through the Industrial Zones Administration.
