Join the Road Guard project and save lives! The project "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" was established in 2016 in order to increase awareness and create a deterrent for careful and safe driving on the roads. As of January 1, 2023, the project is being operated through the "Safe Path" association. Any citizen over the age of 18 can download the "Road Guards" applet and start using it to document traffic violations. Operation of the app is easy and fast - before starting to drive, you activate the app, and when you see a traffic violation, you enable the reporting feature. The report can be activated in one of the following two ways: a voice command and pressing the Bluetooth button on the steering wheel. The applet will start to record and record the description of the offense. These documents are transferred to the control center which is based on volunteer controllers with extensive experience in the field of traffic. After the control, a "letter on the way" is delivered to the documented citizen with a link to a video of the crime's documentation. In cases of life-threatening crimes, the project's report will be forwarded to the police for further processing.
