R Squared Calculator

The R Squared Calculator computes the coefficient of determination (R²) between two datasets. It takes paired X and Y values as input, calculates the correlation coefficient (r), and squares it to get R². This metric indicates what proportion of the variance in the dependent variable (Y) can be explained by the independent variable (X) in a linear regression model, with values ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). Higher values indicate better model fit. The calculator also provides intermediate results including the total number of data points and the Pearson correlation coefficient.
