Sankaramanchi Drik Panchangam The Planetary ephemeries used in our application are based on the FK5 System and latest VSOP, NASA models which are precise and reliable. In Drik Siddhantic calculation first we find sayana positon of planet and then we apply the ayanamsa to the obtained. The nirayana positions of planets are calculated by using Sankaramanchi Ayanamsa. Panchangam Tithi ,Vaaram , Nakshatram , Yogam, Karanam all 5 together known as Panchangam. Tithi : It is one of the 30 divisions of lunar month. One Tithi equals 12 degree difference between Moon and Sun. Vaaram : is the weekday Nakshatram : one of 27 divisions on celestial ecliptic or zodiac from aswini to revati occupied by nirayana moon . One Nakshatra equals 13 degrees:20 minutes. There are 27 Nakshatra in 360 degrees. Yogam : Sum of nirayana longitudes of sun and moon is divided into 27 equal divisions called yogas . One Yoga equals 13 degrees:20 minutes. There are 27 Yogas in 360 degrees. Karanam : half of a Tithi is karanam . One Karaṇa equals 6 degree difference between Moon and Sun.Sunrise and sunset Timings Based on the location and timezone of place the sunrise and sunset are calculated. Nirayana and sayana positions are calculated and displayed in the tabular form. The nirayana calculations are calculated by using sankaramanchi ayanamsa which follows NASA spica position. Here in our app we have calculated and displayed the planet posited star and pada. Our app supports astrological calculation such as Birth chart, Navamsha and other divisional charts Rasi Chakra Rasi Chakra is the Birth Chart which is divided into Twelve houses where these Twelve houses of Rasichakra show ascendant and planet position in various zodiac signs at the time of birth as seen from particular place. Bhava Chakra The Bhava chakra is drawn with reference to the Lagna degree and the corrections applied to bhava Madhya. The Bhava chart is used to predict dasas and planetary influences. Shodasa Vargas Shodasa Vargas means 16 types of divisional charts. The rasichakra consists of 12 Rasis of 30 degrees each making the entire rasichakra 360 degrees. Each of the rasi i.e. 30 degrees is further subdivided into number of divisions / Vargas. These Varga charts are known as Divisional charts. These charts are used for predictive purposes.
