Parents vs Phones: Screen Time

Parents vs Phones is a parental-control app for setting walking protection and app time limits on a child's Android phone. When a child walks while using an app selected by the parent, the app covers the screen. The screen returns after walking stops. When the parent-set use time ends, selected apps remain covered for the chosen break time. Main features Walking screen protection - Covers selected apps while the child is walking. - Fast detection covers the screen as soon as walking is confirmed. Standard detection waits 3 seconds. - Restores the screen after walking stops. - Calls, messages, maps, camera, and apps the parent did not select remain available. App time and breaks - Parents choose which apps to manage. - Use time and break time can be set in one-minute steps. - Selected apps are covered when use time ends and become available after the break. Daily schedule - Parents can set school hours, bedtime, and weekend hours. - During an enabled schedule, selected apps are covered as soon as they open. Protection status - Walking protection, app time, and schedules can be checked on one screen. - If a required permission or battery setting needs attention, the parent sees one item to review. - Parents can run an in-app check to confirm that protection is working. Parent-protected settings - A parent PIN is required to change settings. - After setup, the child sees a black screen with a settings icon in the top-right corner. - Saved protection settings remain after reopening the app or restarting the phone. Privacy - No account is required. - No advertising ID, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK is used. - Location, travel routes, screen content, photos, and videos are not saved or sent to a server. - Settings and operating records stay on the phone. Parents vs Phones uses display-over-other-apps, usage access, physical activity, notifications, and optional camera permission only for the features described above. Note Protection rules apply to the entire app selected by the parent. The app does not identify or filter individual videos or other content inside that app.
