Whether you read bilingual articles, multi-lingual books, or messages containing diverse scripts, Vinyas TTS automatically detects the language and routes the text to the correct TTS engine and voice instantly, without any manual switching. Zero Data Collection: We DO NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, voice profiles, typing history, passwords, or text processed by the TTS engine. Vinyas TTS operates entirely offline. 2. Local Processing & Background Service: All speech routing operations occur strictly offline on your local device. To ensure uninterrupted screen-reading functionality via TalkBack, this application operates securely as a system Text-to-Speech service in the background. 3. App Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): Our "App Routing" feature requires "Usage Access" permission to detect which application is currently active on your screen. This is strictly used to switch TTS voices dynamically based on your custom rules. This usage data is processed locally in real-time and is NEVER stored, shared, or transmitted to any external servers. 4. Battery Optimization: The app requests users to disable battery optimization (set to 'Unrestricted'). This is solely to prevent the Android operating system from forcefully terminating the background TTS routing mechanism, ensuring stable performance for visually impaired users. 5. Third-Party Engines: Vinyas acts only as a bridge/router. The actual speech generation is handled by your selected third-party engines. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies. Note: Vinyas TTS requires third-party TTS engines to be already installed on your device to function.
