Sigma Timer

The Sigma Timer app allows you to monitor the remaining run time of up to 32 centrifuges on your mobile device. The Spincontrol T controller generates a QR code containing the operating data of the laboratory centrifuge. The Sigma Timer app scans the QR code, visualizes the transmitted data, counts the remaining run time, and alerts the user when the centrifuge is about to run. The app displays the user-specific name of the laboratory centrifuge, its model name, the set parameters (run time, speed, gravity field, temperature), and the remaining run time. This enables convenient monitoring of the run time, even outside the lab. With the Sigma Timer, the run time can be used efficiently for other tasks – even outside the lab – allowing the experimenter to return in time for further sample processing. It's that simple: Download the app to your mobile device, start the centrifugation run, and scan the QR code generated by the Spincontrol T with the Sigma Timer app. The remaining run time is displayed in the app, and the progress can be monitored even outside the lab. *This is not a live display of the centrifuge's status. Data is transmitted only once. If the run is interrupted, this will not be shown in the app. Due to braking time, e.g., during free run-out or L1 curves, there may be discrepancies between the run's end time shown in the app and the actual run time.
