It is based on a card game in which all of the cards are laid face down on a surface and two cards are flipped face up over each turn. The object of the game is to turn over pairs of matching cards. It can be played with any number of players. 2. It is also based on a game where you have to guess the hidden letters of a secret word. If you pick a letter that is not in the word a man is slowly drawn. With each wrong letter guess the man is drawn more and more. When the man is finished he is hung and the game is lost.
