"Hyakki Onsen" is a Japanese-style idle game (incremental management simulation) where you rebuild a dilapidated inn with kappa (water goblins) and snow women. Even while you're away, hot spring gems accumulate, the inn grows, and your yokai encyclopedia fills up. Each time you rebuild, the inn's scenery changes, and new guest rooms open up—a relaxing idle management game. No gacha (loot boxes). No paid currency. With permanent enhancement through spiritual power, the next inn will grow faster and bigger. With each succession of ownership, the inn's illustration changes from the first to the sixth generation, cherry blossoms, fireflies, maple leaves, snow, moon—with each generation, new guest rooms can be constructed. ■ Hospitality in Fifteen Seconds Occasionally, you'll encounter guests with a peculiar personality. "The dark road is unsettling. Could you come and meet me at the entrance?"—Now, who will you send out? This game's only reflex is choosing the right yokai to match the guest's wishes. Even if you get it wrong, your inn won't go bankrupt. Rarely, you'll see special guests such as demon lords or messengers of the dragon god. If you serve them well, you'll be rewarded lavishly. ■ Instead of Gacha, there's matchmaking. New yokai are welcomed at the "Shrine of Matchmaking." The candidates change weekly. Choose one you like, and offer your Yokai Energy (which accumulates as you play), and that yokai will definitely become your ally. Instead of the fun of drawing, we've replaced it with the fun of choosing. ■ Yu-Tama accumulate. Enjoy the ultimate inflation. Yu-Tama will exceed hundreds of millions, then trillions, and eventually reach the capital. The developers tested the growth curve for 90 days using an economic simulator. Based on that, they gave up on balancing the game. Even if you accumulate resources, inflation makes them less useful.
