The Arts Channel

THE ARTS CHANNEL Arts curated for the curious If you are interested in the arts – whether it be music, dance, art, sculpture, photography, theatre, literature, film…you may have noticed that the coverage on television can be quite limited. Of course, there are the conventional concert and opera relays available from various sources, as well as some documentaries, but there is a huge amount of material that you will never see in the UK, because it is neither commissioned nor acquired here. That has now changed. With one click, The Arts Channel becomes your portal into hours of fascinating, quality arts film and television from around the world: Music documentaries from Spain, performance from Russia, dance from The Netherlands, art from South Africa, architecture from Australia, photography from France, theatre from America and lots more of all this from independent British producers. All international programming is either subtitled or more often has an English commentary. You can watch The Arts Channel on your phone, tablet, computer and via a smart TV web browser or Chromecast. If your TV is older, then you simply connect it to your computer via an HDMI cable The annual subscription allows you unlimited access to all our ad-free programming and each month we expand the catalogue by acquiring new films and - importantly – commissioning our own documentaries, film essays and carefully chosen performance experiences. All you have to do is choose a film or programme from our simply categorised and carefully curated genre lists. No more searching through the newspaper, getting lost in endless SVOD menus or being irritated by inaccurate algorithms! Join our community and satisfy your curiosity.
