Providence Virtual Therapy App is a virtual therapy platform for patients receiving physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The app helps patients connect with licensed therapy providers, attend 1-on-1 live therapy sessions, complete home exercise programs, and track progress throughout their care journey. Virtual Therapy supports remote therapeutic monitoring by allowing providers to review patient activity, therapy compliance, recovery progress, and outcomes between visits. Patients can follow assigned home exercise programs, communicate securely with their care team, manage appointments, and receive ongoing support from their therapy providers. With the patient’s permission, Providence Virtual Therapy App may access step count and sleep data through Health Connect. This information is used to help providers monitor therapy compliance, activity levels, mobility progress, recovery patterns, fatigue, and overall progress as part of the patient’s therapy plan. For example, step data may help a physical therapist understand whether a patient is safely increasing activity, while sleep data may help the care team evaluate recovery and rest patterns during therapy. Health Connect data is used only to support therapy care, remote therapeutic monitoring, progress tracking, and compliance monitoring within Virtual Therapy. We do not sell Health Connect data or share step count or sleep data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or unrelated purposes. Patients can choose whether to grant Health Connect permissions and may revoke access at any time through their device settings.
