Steer an orb, collect stars gems relics, open the gate. One life.

Star Gate Maze is a neon arcade labyrinth for phones, tablets, and the browser. You steer a glowing orb through procedurally carved corridors, collect every required target on the floor, wait for the escape gate to bloom green, and glide into it to clear the maze. The campaign now spans thirty-six mazes in three waves of twelve named families — Star Garden, Amber Coils, Frost Run, Echo Vault, Wisp Trail, Magma Slots, Void Spiral, Pulse Maze, Core Siege, Nemesis Grid, Inferno Path, and Final Gate. Each family returns in a second and third wave with a tighter wall pattern, more roaming hazards, and extra collectibles. Early mazes ask only for stars. Mid-campaign mazes also require cyan gems before the gate will open. Late mazes add violet relics, so you must plan a route that covers stars, gems, and relics in one life. Movement is grid-based and readable. Slide with the on-screen D-pad, arrow keys, WASD, or a tap on a neighboring cell. Hold the center star on the D-pad, or Shift on a keyboard, to boost. Boost drains a stamina bar; release to refill. The pad can be dragged to a comfortable corner so thumbs do not cover the maze. You have one life. There is no countdown clock cutting the run short. Time still appears as a quiet elapsed clock for personal records, but a mistake is what ends the maze: a pink patrol on your cell, a wall flame in its on-phase, a vortex while it is solid, or a sonic burst on the tile you occupy. One touch, and the run is over. Retry the same maze or return to the menu. That one-life rule keeps every corridor tense without racing a shrinking timer. The HUD shows the maze number, a single heart, elapsed time, and remaining required targets. Stars always count. Gems join the requirement in wave two. Relics join in wave three. Optional extras still add to the level score even when they are not required to open the gate. Hazards are designed to leave gaps. Patrols roam the floor and pause between steps. Flames, vortices, and sonic jets pulse on and off, so you can wait for a safe window instead of rushing. Later waves add more of each type, so routes that felt open in wave one become timing puzzles. Scoring is honest. Stars, gems, and relics each have a point value. Your level score is the sum of pickups on that run. The campaign total stored for the leaderboard is the highest score you have posted on each maze, added together. A nickname chosen once appears on the seasonal and all-time boards. The flash screen waits for you. After assets load, a Play control sits on the brand splash. Music starts only when you tap through to home, so nothing plays until you are ready. Home holds Play, Levels, Leaderboard, How to play, and Settings, including eight languages: English, Vietnamese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Hindi, and French. Star Gate Maze is built as a full-viewport Canvas game. Portrait and landscape both keep the maze, HUD, and D-pad usable. Progress, high scores per maze, and control placement stay on the device. Open a maze, read the required targets on the HUD, collect them, and step through the green gate.
