Vitiligo.nl represents the interests of vitiligo patients. The association has ± 1,275 members. Since its foundation in 1990, increasing knowledge about vitiligo has been an important objective. The association does this by: provide information via the association website, on member days, in member magazine Spotlight! and the digital info bulletin Espot. In addition, Vitiligo.nl draws the attention of health care providers (dermatologists and treatment centers) to vitiligo. It is very important that more research is done into treatment methods. That is why Vitiligo.nl encourages research where possible. For example, by sharing the valuable experiences of members with doctors and researchers. Contact with fellow sufferers is also an important pillar of the association. Members can exchange experiences with each other on member days and on the private Facebook page.
