Weatec is an accountability and recovery support app that helps you monitor device activity, reduce exposure to inappropriate or sexual content, and stay responsible to a trusted group leader or support community. Our goal is to help people quit harmful digital habits through transparency, self-accountability, and guided support. ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE Weatec uses Android's AccessibilityService API, with your explicit consent, to power its core monitoring and accountability features. What the AccessibilityService API is used for: • Read on-screen text and visible content from apps on your device • Detect website/URLs visited in supported web browsers • Help identify potentially inappropriate or sexual content for accountability and incident workflows How this data is used: • Screen content and browsing/URL data are securely uploaded to Weatec servers for monitoring, review, incident creation, and accountability features • Data is used only for features you enable after consent • Data is shared only within your authorized Weatec accountability workflow (for example, with your assigned group leader or support contacts) • We do not sell this data and do not use it for advertising • Weatec does not intentionally collect passwords, payment details, or other highly sensitive credentials Consent and control: • Before Accessibility Service is enabled, Weatec shows an in-app prominent disclosure explaining why the AccessibilityService API is required and how data is used • You must tap Agree before continuing • You can deny consent; monitoring features will not work without it • You can disable Weatec's Accessibility Service at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility Weatec is not an accessibility tool for users with disabilities.
