S-Patch Sports

S-Patch Sports App is an application designed for monitoring, measuring, and tracking heart rate (HR) records during exercise. The App must be connected to an external hardware device S-Patch in order to get activated and start collecting continuous HR signals. The S-Patch is HR monitoring device intended for use in measuring wearer’s HR during exercise. After connecting to S-Patch device, S-Patch sports App can measure, record, and track users’ HR signals. The overall solution consists of: a) S-Patch, a HR monitoring device that continuously measures heart rate (HR) signals; b) S-Patch Sports App installed on a mobile device that receives live stream of digitized HR signals from S-Patch. Key features of the S-Patch Sports App: - Calculate and display incoming HR stream in real-time - Start and End the HR Recording - Track recorded HR history Important: *Background location access is needed to search and connect to the Bluetooth device (S-Patch) even when the app is closed or not in use. As the app needs to receive continuous data stream from the device, this background location access is essential to the core functionality of the app. Please note that location information will not be stored. * This app is not a medical device.
