In a torch-lit feudal dojo, spinning blade traps sweep back and forth across the corridor — and only a perfectly timed dash can carry you through the sweeping death arc unscathed. Katana Blitz is an auto-runner with a precision dash mechanic: hold to charge, release to dash right; swipe left to dash backward; tap up to leap over short blades. The dash duration is brief and the cooldown deliberate, meaning you can't spam through traps — you must read the blade's position, wait for the opening, and commit to the dash at exactly the right frame. A cooldown bar beneath your samurai displays dash availability in real time. The dojo aesthetic is painted in deep crimson and black ink tones: wooden floor panels, golden paper lanterns that flicker with a warm orange glow, crimson hanging banners, and cherry blossom petals scattered by the force of blade swings. Your samurai moves as a detailed dark silhouette with a gleaming katana — dashing leaves a red afterimage trail. Each group of blade traps has its own sweep speed and gap width; some require precise single-dashes while others demand a rapid double-sequence. The score ticks based on distance survived, with bonus points for passing each trap group cleanly. Fast, tense, and deeply satisfying.
