The Rocks of the Czech Republic application offers: — a complete, up-to-date database of climbing rocks in the Czech Republic — basic parameters, description and characteristics of individual rocks and ascent routes — marking the position of rocks on the map — navigation for arriving at the rocks, including an azimuth direction indicator and distance — evaluation of the popularity and attendance of rocks and routes — photo gallery with the option to add your own photos — the ability to measure and complete the missing position of the rock on the spot from the application — ​​the ability to report damaged protection, complete the properties of rocks and routes — marking parking spaces and public transport stops near the rocks — connection to external navigation applications — search results sorted by database structure and colored by object type — offline mode with photos — updating downloaded data from the server — search history OFFLINE mode! Data can be downloaded (including photos) for use with a weak or no mobile signal. Even in offline mode, you can suggest changes to the data, evaluate, complete the location or add photos. New data will be uploaded to the database only after a connection. By adding photos, coordinates and route characteristics, you will improve the quality of information that serves the entire climbing community. Climbers for climbers. NEW IN VERSION 2.1.0 SECTOR MAP • Sectors without restrictions are green, prohibitions are easier to see. The selected sector is highlighted. IMPROVED OFFLINE MODE In the Downloaded and Sector Map tabs, the application uses data stored on the phone. Your changes will be sent automatically as soon as you are online again. • Work without contact with the network, without waiting and error messages. • Switches Download data only on WiFi and Upload changes only on WiFi (see Settings). • The phone remains available — unlike Airplane mode, you will not miss any incoming calls and SMS. DOWNLOADING AND OFFLINE MODE • The icons show the number of photos to download and changes to upload. Downloading and uploading are done in the background. • Download signal — gray checkmark = texts, green checkmark = photos too. • Cancel download: What has already been downloaded remains. • The gray checkmark downloads missing photos when tapped. • Pull-to—refresh in the region list. • Delete by dragging to the left in the lists in Downloaded. • Restructuring of photo storage, eliminating duplicate downloads. SETTINGS • New tab in the bottom menu,. • Save photos to the gallery as well. • Upload changes only on WiFi — edits are sent only after connecting from the Database tab. • Download data only on WiFi. • Cancel all pending downloads. The button is active only when there is something to cancel. SEARCH • History in Downloaded offers keywords for which data is currently downloaded. • Search saves what you typed, not what you tapped. UX AND STABILITY • "Offline" warning only in the Database tab. You don't need a signal in the others. OK will redirect you to the Downloaded section to the same object. If it is not downloaded, to the section's home page. • Back from a detail opened via the Sector Map — returns you back to the Map (to the same position and zoom). • Rotation with a 2s delay — does not respond to small, short-term tilts of the phone. • Delete confirmation — protection against accidental touches. • Header description on the region page.
