Gesundheitstreffpunkt Mannheim

Since its founding in 1981, the Health Center has been involved in a variety of social and healthcare activities: The contact and information center for self-help supports volunteers in the 200 self-help groups currently active in Mannheim. At the Rhine-Neckar patient counseling center at the Health Center, patients receive medical advice and counseling on advance directives in German and Turkish. Through events (film evenings, self-help days, etc.), projects, and the publication of the self-help magazine gesundheitspress, the Health Center provides information and encourages the development of new initiatives.
