The DAREMANUS App – A Platform for People with Disabilities The non-profit DAREMANUS Foundation, based in Holzkirchen, Germany (83607), supports individuals, initiatives, and institutions that assist people of all ages with physical, intellectual, and mental disabilities, with a particular focus on autism. The founder himself has an autistic daughter. He observed that even within close family circles and in well-run institutions, there is not always enough time and patience available to address the very individual and specific needs of people with disabilities. The DAREMANUS Foundation has therefore made it its mission to prioritize emotional support – directly and personally through mentorships for shared activities. To this end, DAREMANUS has developed a Wish & Match app, the DAREMANUS App. The app is free to use. It serves as a platform for connecting people with aspirations, their caregivers, and "happiness mentors." People with disabilities (HC) can post their wishes. Helpers and caregivers can offer their services. Sponsors (see Sponsor) can make wishes come true. Together, activities such as outings, movie nights, dancing, baking cakes, or watching football together can be organized and planned as events. The motto is "Experiencing Great Things Together" and forging friendships. Those who wish can financially support individual activities and allocate their donations specifically to particular activities or events.
