About the App IKK classic customers can now redeem their medical aids faster, more securely, and more easily without tedious paperwork – this and much more is possible with the free IKK classic e-prescription app: With it, you always have your electronic prescription with you on your smartphone. It is issued digitally at the doctor's office and forwarded by you free of charge to the medical aid provider (e.g., medical supply stores). This app also offers even more – a doctor search, a search for participating medical aid providers, and you can see the processing status of your e-prescription at any time. Benefits - Save time: There's no more waiting at the doctor's office for the prescription to be issued and signed. - Robust: The electronic prescription won't get dirty, lost, or damaged. - No postage: Forward the e-prescription directly to the medical supply store free of charge within the app. - Fast service: Select your medical aid provider in the app – the prescription is transmitted electronically immediately, enabling fast delivery. - Always up to date: Track the status of your prescription in the app. - No more paper clutter: All your e-prescriptions are collected in the app. Target group The app offers all IKK classic members aged 16 and over the opportunity to receive, manage, and submit prescriptions for medical aids digitally and conveniently to their medical aid provider. Participating physicians To participate in the special e-prescription for medical aids program, physicians/prescribers must join the contract to issue e-prescriptions. IKK classic customers can see which physicians are participating in the app before registering. Participating medical aid providers To participate in the special e-prescription for medical aids program, medical aid providers must join the contract to accept e-prescriptions. IKK classic customers can search for participating medical aid providers in the app and assign e-prescriptions to them. After receiving the electronic prescription for assistive devices, the assistive device provider verifies eligibility and informs the insured. SECURITY As a statutory health insurance provider, we ensure the best possible protection of your health data. To guarantee that only you have access to your app, we will securely identify you once via our IKK classic app. This can be done using various methods, such as the PostIdent procedure. Note: If you already have your health ID, you can conveniently use it for registration.
