FUNCTIONS The TUK app is the place where you, as a parent, can manage your child's TUK Speaker. This is where you can play your audiobooks and make the connection between them and the printed books. In the app, you can also control which audiobooks should play a sound when you turn to the next page of the printed book. This feature is a great help for beginning readers and for the youngest children who want to listen to the story and look at the book's illustrations at the same time. In short, the app is what brings the whole TUK concept to life. SET UP SPEAKER Here you can easily and quickly set up your new TUK Speaker and get started with the magical reading experiences. You can also name, update and reset the speaker – all that your child doesn't have to worry about, but that you can do in the app. If you have more than one TUK Speaker, you can control them all from here. CONNECT BOOKS AND AUDIOBOOKS When you place your audiobooks in the special TUK Tags and attach them to the printed books, you create the connection between the printed books and the audiobooks and create the listening and reading experience. It is the TUK Tag that activates the TUK Speaker's playback of the audiobook. Once you have connected the books and audiobooks in the app, your child can experience the magic screen-free at any time - only with the help of his TUK Speaker and the printed book. The TUK Speaker simply needs to be held over the TUK Tag, and playback of the audiobook will begin automatically. SOUND WHEN PAGE CHANGING Some of the audio books in the TUK concept play a sound when the child has to turn to the next page in the printed book. These audiobooks are equipped with a recognizable icon in the webshop, so you can easily find them. Sound on page change only works when the audiobook is played using a TUK Speaker. PLAY AUDIOBOOKS When you have saved your audiobooks in TUK Tags, you can play them both with your TUK Speaker and with your phone, if you have not yet got hold of a speaker. GET AN OVERVIEW OF YOUR BOOKS In the bookshelf, it is easy to keep track of all your audiobooks, just as you get an overview of which audiobooks you have linked together with the printed books using TUK Tags. RECORD YOURSELF STORIES With the TUK app, you can not only play audiobooks, you can also record your very own stories. It is done simply in the app, after which the recording can be saved in a TUK Tag and played back with the TUK Speaker.
