The easy-to-use Luetus® reading application speaks magazines and books in a machine voice.
A user registered with the Luetus® application can listen to magazines and books in the publication selection of the Luetus service of the Association of the Visually Impaired using a machine voice. The views of the Luetus® application are accessed using the four tab buttons at the bottom of the application. The tabs are from left to right: Publications, Favorites, Downloads and Settings. • You can browse the publication selection of the Luetus® service on the Publications tab. • You can add publications you read often to the Favorites tab. • Opened publication numbers can be found in the Downloads tab. You can read downloaded publications even without an internet connection. • The speech support of the article view enables e.g. to continue listening on the locked screen and to listen to several articles continuously. • You can change the speed of the machine voice and the size of the text to suit you • If you use a braille display, you can use the app to read magazines and books using the Talkback screen reader. The application is logged in with the Luetus® service username and password, which you receive when registering for the service.
