In the KAMU medication, only prescription and self-medication products from Finland can be checked. The drug search does not contain any special authorization products. If the product you are looking for is not found, you should contact SUEK. Please take note of the preparation when checking that the method of administration matches the product you are looking for. The drug formulation contains products with the same name, for example from tablet to ointment. One of these may be allowed and the other prohibited. The drug may contain several active ingredients having different doping ratings. If the medicinal product contains one of the prohibited active substances, the product is prohibited. The refinement references have clarifications. In Finland and abroad there may be medicines with the same name and containing different drugs. Therefore, the KAMU drug application should not be checked for the acceptability of medicines obtained from abroad. There are no technochemical products, homeopathic remedies, nutritional supplements and so-called natural products. Their composition should be inquired from the seller or importer. Occasionally, food supplements may contain prohibited substances, even though they are not mentioned in the product information. It is good to remember that the athlete is always responsible for the products they use.
