This is a core part of how voice calling works in the app: • A persistent "Ongoing call" notification appears for the full duration of an active call • Tap the notification to open the call screen again • Microphone access continues only while the call is active, so both people can keep talking when the app is in the background or the screen is locked • The notification and background audio stop immediately when you end the call This visible ongoing-call notification and background voice support are necessary to provide reliable voice calls on Android. They are used only during an active call—not when you are browsing profiles or chatting without a call in progress. 👉 Friendship Hub is built for meaningful voice connection—with clear, user-visible call status whenever a call is live.
