Spot a Stray

Today there are almost 2 million stray dogs in Greece. The main goal of the Spot a Stray application is to record all stray (but also lost) dogs in Greece that will lead through the appropriate process to their final removal from the road. Given the fact that the younger generations in the country are more aware of the treatment of stray animals, we believe that the application will be a very strong ally in the fight between NGOs, animal welfare organizations, veterinarians and the Greek state. generally. The application will allow the user to: • Post the photo of a stray dog he saw on the street, add his features as well as communicate with other users through comments. • Browse the dynamic map of Spot a Stray to find stray (or lost dogs) in its area (or in any part of Greece) through various filters (size, breed, color, sex). • Has direct access to the contact details of the nearest clinical animals, veterinary clinics, animal welfare organizations and competent services of the Municipalities. • Receives alerts for stray (or stray) dogs in his area, as well as follow posts that interest him. • Has access to useful articles about man's best friend and our relationship with him through his Spot a Stray blog. We believe that the most characteristic feature of a society's culture is its attitude towards the weakest; and there are no weaker creatures than stray animals. As we can not decode their voice, we can stand by them and everyone who joins in this struggle.
