The Hong Kong Haunted House Database transforms manually compiled case records from publicly reported media outlets across Hong Kong into a searchable database by region, address, and keywords. 【Main Functions · Haunted House Database】 • Region Search: Select a region or enter an address or keywords for instant search. • Case List: Displays region, date, and address, marked with a "hit record" for that address. • Citywide Coverage: Compiles publicly available case records from all districts. • No Account Required: No login, no voting, no personal input collection. 【Differences Between Free and Full Versions】 • Free Version: Searches all cases, each displaying only region, date, address, and the "hit record" marker, along with advertisements. • One-time payment to remove ads: Unlocks an incident summary for each case, and links to relevant news reports (if any). • Please note: News links are not available for every case, depending on whether there were relevant media reports at the time; unlocking always reveals the incident summary. 【Additional Feature: Public Data from the 18 Districts】 This application includes an additional "Public Data from the 18 Districts" feature, which compiles government open data from DATA.GOV.HK into rankings of the 18 districts, district competency cards, and automatic data comparisons for easy comparison of public information across Hong Kong districts.
