The application provides a concise illustrated overview of the gods, goddesses, beings, and demons of the ancient Slavs, accompanied by brief descriptions. The content is based on available historical, literary, ethnographic, folkloric, archaeological, and linguistic sources. Due to the fragmentary nature and regional diversity of surviving sources, information about Slavic mythology often differs and, in some cases, contradicts itself. When dealing with disputed topics, we deliberately rely on historically attested or widely accepted interpretations and prioritize reconstructions of original mythological concepts over modern esoteric or ideological reinterpretations. Slavic mythology represents a complex and non-uniform system of religious and mythological beliefs that developed over a long period of time across different Slavic regions. As the Slavs never formed a unified state or centralized religion, no single pantheon or fixed hierarchical structure of deities existed. Therefore, the mythology of the ancient Slavs can only be partially reconstructed today, with full awareness of its regional variations.
