Custom Weather Alerts lets you create your own weather alerts and alarms from the forecast: a frost alert before a cold night, a rain alert before your commute, a wind alarm when it's windy enough to kitesurf, or a heat alert for a hot afternoon. You choose the conditions, the days and the hours. The app checks the forecast every day and lets you know with a notification or an alarm sound. 🔔 CREATE YOUR OWN WEATHER ALERTS • Rain: more than X mm. • Temperature: above or below X °F / °C (heat alert, frost alert, freeze warning). • Wind: above X mph, km/h or m/s. • Cloud cover: more or less than X %. • Snow, fog and thunderstorm. Give each alert your own name, like "Frost in the morning" or "Good wind on Saturday". 📅 ONLY ON THE DAYS AND HOURS YOU CARE ABOUT Limit each alert to some days of the week and a time window: • Frost between 3 am and 9 am, to protect your plants or scrape the windshield. • Wind over 20 mph on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm, for kitesurfing, windsurfing or sailing. • Rain on weekdays at commute time. • A temperature alert above 95 °F (35 °C) in the afternoon, before your run. ⏰ WEATHER ALARM, NOTIFICATION OR SILENT Pick the time of the daily forecast check and how far ahead it looks: the next 24, 48 or 72 hours. If any alert is met, you get a weather notification with a normal sound, a loop alarm sound that repeats like an alarm clock, or a silent notification. The details screen shows which 3-hour periods meet each alert. Add a temperature alert for "less than 32 °F (0 °C)", limit it to the night and early morning, and choose alarm sound or notification. Can I get a rain alarm before I go to work? Yes. Create a rain alert for weekdays at your commute time and set the daily check early in the morning. Is there a wind alert for kitesurfing or sailing? Yes: wind above the speed you want, in mph, km/h or m/s, only on the days and hours you go out. Can I get weather alerts with sound? Yes.
