Manfred does your Mastodon business. It is a simple yet powerful Mastodon client. It is fast, tidy and respectful of your attention. Unlike other platforms, Mastodon has no algorithmic feed and no engagement tricks: it simply gives you your timelines. Manfred lets you shape them exactly how you like, and helps you put the app down when you are done. YOUR HOME SCREEN, YOUR RULES Compose your home screen from timelines, lists, hashtags and notifications. Arrange them as tabs on your phone or side by side on your tablet. FOCUS MODE (OPT-IN) Flip one switch and your timeline becomes finite: Manfred stops right where you last left off, hides engagement counts, and reduces notifications to mentions only. Read what's new, see "you're all caught up", and get on with your day. Turn it off any time and Manfred behaves like a classic client again. TRULY PRIVATE PUSH Push notifications are strictly opt-in and end-to-end encrypted. Our relay server forwards notifications without being able to read them. Not even we know who has mentioned you. MANY ACCOUNTS, ONE APP Switch between accounts on any instance with a single tap and reply as whichever persona suits. FILTERS THAT WORK Hide boosts, replies or bots per column, and show any column as a classic timeline, a photo gallery, or a media list. CONVERSATIONS THAT MAKE SENSE Threads are shown as a real tree with colour-coded levels, and replies carry their context with them. Collapse the branches you have already read. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP Preview any instance's local timeline anonymously before signing in. SHARING MADE EASY Share text, links and images from other apps straight into the Manfred composer. PRIVACY Manfred collects no personal data and shows no ads. Your settings stay on your device, and the app only ever communicates with the Mastodon server you choose.
