মুসলিম মনীষীদের জীবনী হল তাবেইন যুগের মুসলিম মনীষীদের জীবনী। তাবেঈনের কেরাম আযমাইন রাহিমাহুল্লাহ। যারা ছিলেন সাহাবায়ে কেরাম রা. দের জীবন্ত প্রতিচ্ছবি, বাস্তব নমুনা, আমলে ও আখলাকে, যুহদ ও তাকওয়ায়। তারা ছিলেন সাহাবায়ে কেরাম রা. দের প্রত্যক্ষ শিক্ষা ও দীক্ষাপ্রাপ্ত হাতেগড়া ছাত্র। তাদেরই পরশে গড়ে উঠেছে তাবেঈদের বর্ণাঢ্য জীবন। সাহাবায়ে কেরামের মতো তাদেরও ঈমান ছিল পাহাড়ের মতো অনড় ও অটল। তারা ছিলেন কোরআন ও সুন্নাহর পাগলপ্রেমিক। দুনিয়ার যাবতীয় আরাম আয়েশ ছিল তাদের কাছে অত্যন্ত তুচ্ছ ও হীন। ইলমের কদর ছিল তাদের কাছে সর্বাধিক। ইলমের জন্য তারা ছুটে যেতেন এক শহর থেকে অন্য শহরে, একদেশ থেকে অন্য দেশে, উটে চড়ে, পায়ে হেটে! খেয়ে না খেয়ে, কখনো লাগাতার উপবাস ভোগ করতেন ইলম অর্জনে ! The tabiun followers or successors, are the generation of Muslims who followed the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (ṣaḥābah), and thus received their teachings secondhand. A tābi‘ knew at least one ṣaḥābiyy.As such, they played an important part in the development of Islamic thought and philosophy, and in the political development of the early caliphate. The next generation of Muslims after the tabi‘ūn are called the tābi‘ al-tabi‘īn تَابِعُو ٱلتَّابِعِينَ. The first three generations of Muhammad’s followers make up the salaf سَّلَفُ of Islam. Muslims from the Sunni branch of Islam define a tābiʻ as a Muslim who: Saw at least one of the Companions of Muhammad Was rightly-guided One who died in that state. The Khawarij are therefore not referred to as tābiʻūn even though they saw many of Muhammad's companions. Sunni Muslims also regard the tābiʻūn as the best generation after the Companions.
