BeBa (Benessere Bambini)

BeBa is the APP that the USL - IRCCS Company of Reggio Emilia, in collaboration with the University of Bologna and the company Lepida SCPA, has created to facilitate the parent-pediatrician relationship for the promotion of healthy lifestyles and the prevention of overweight and childhood obesity. The APP has as its main target the parents of children from 0 to 13/14 years and is divided into 5 main "topics": - Guides / News: anticipatory guides and news have been created with advice and information regarding the child and his growth. - Physical activity: an opportunity map is implemented which indicates the possibilities for organized and unorganized physical activity in the area. - Nutrition: there are healthy and various recipes that can be consulted and selected. Based on the main foods consumed during meals, the App recommends recipes suitable for completing the diet in a balanced way. - What to do: provides information on how to act in case of pathologies and / or accidents - BMInforma: a part of the App allows families with children within the BMInforma program (Very Fit Children, motivational counseling path that PLS conduct in their clinics with overweight girls) to access a section to strengthen their motivation and their involvement
