Finding parking can be a source of great stress for travellers. 40% of motorists take an average of 10 minutes to look for parking and 9% even 20 minutes. This contributes to making our cities unlivable and the parking experience far from easy. This is why ParkingMyCar wants to make a revolution in the world of car, motorcycle, camper and van parking thanks to an app and web platform that allows you to quickly and easily locate, book and pay online for your parking in the city or near airports, ports and stations. ParkingMyCar is the first app able to offer parking reservation and payment services on a large scale both in public and private parking structures and in surface parking (blue stripes). We offer long-term parking services in over 50 Italian ports and airports (including Milan Malpensa and Linate, Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino, Naples Capodichino, Turin Caselle, Bologna Guglielmo Marconi, Bergamo Orio Al Serio, Florence Peretola, Venice Marco Polo, etc. .) and near the main railway stations of the peninsula. The innovative app also makes it possible to geolocate free parking spaces in urban areas in real time and pay directly online for parking on the blue line. HOW THE APP WORKS The services offered are reflected in an agile and intuitive app structure that allows you to book and pay for your parking with a few simple taps on your smartphone. When opening the app, a simple pop up immediately gives you the opportunity to choose between the two main services offered: “Search and book a parking space” “Pay for a stop on the blue lines” BOOK AND PAY FOR PARKING IN THE STRUCTURE By tapping on the first you will be redirected to the "Book your parking" screen where you can, using a form, indicate the city, place or specific address on which to search for parking (also based on your location), specify the start and end time of the stop and indicate the type of vehicle (car, motorbike, camper, van). Once the search has started, the system will geolocate the structures with parking spaces available for the dates indicated. At that point, all you have to do is tap on the parking label that suits you best and complete the booking. This feature can also be reached from the "Book" menu item. PARKING PAYMENT ON BLUE STRIPES If you tap on "Pay for parking on the blue lines" you will be redirected to a very simple screen where you will have to provide the position of your parked vehicle by typing in the address or alternatively the area code indicated on the columns located near the parking. You can also choose to end your parking early or extend it if necessary (you will receive a notification when the parking period is about to end). In this way you can be sure that you only pay for the actual parking time. This feature can also be reached from the "Parking meter" menu item. Both in the case of parking in the structure and in that on the blue stripe, you can easily manage your reservations from the "My stops" screen where you can view current, future and already completed reservations. MANAGE YOUR PROFILE and PAYMENT METHODS Through the "Profile" menu item you have the possibility to: - Register or access your personal account. - Manage the payment method: you can insert a debit/credit card and manage your rechargeable wallet; by tapping on the details you can see the balance available on the wallet, top up and save the default payment method (wallet or card). - Add one or more vehicles and indicate the default one for faster future bookings, specifying the license plate, vehicle type and model. Change the display settings (light or dark).
