Agone: propose and vote on the new official heraldry for your neighborhood in Rome.
To mark the centenary of the Trieste neighborhood, Agone, the app dedicated to defining the new heraldry of Rome's historic neighborhoods, was launched. This initiative, promoted by APS SinergieSolidali, aims to actively involve the community in the creation of shared, identifying symbols. The Project Agone's first call for proposals focuses on six key areas of the city: ● Salario: bounded by Via Salaria, Via Nomentana, Viale Regina Margherita, and Via Ignazio Guidi. ● Trieste: between Via Salaria, Viale Regina Margherita, Via Chiana, Corso Trieste, Via di Sant’Agnese, and Via Nomentana. ● Verbano: the area between Via Salaria, Via Chiana, Corso Trieste/Viale Eritrea, Via di Priscilla, Via Poggio Catino, and Via Monte delle Gioie. ● Africano: between the Ferrovia, Viale Eritrea/Viale Libia, Via di Sant’Agnese, and Via Nomentana. ● Vescovio: bordered by Via Salaria, Ferrovia, Viale Libia, Via di Priscilla, Via Poggio Catino, and Via Monte delle Gioie. ● Sacco Pastore: the area bounded by the Aniene River and the railway line. Protagonists: the creativity of high schools For this first call, proposals are submitted exclusively by students from the area's historic high schools: Giulio Cesare, Avogadro, Righi, Tasso, Carducci, Montessori, and Orazio. How to participate and vote The final choice is up to the residents of the neighborhoods. By downloading the app and completing the registration, you can: 1. Select the neighborhood where you live. 2. View the artistic works proposed for your area. 3. Cast up to two votes. The most voted proposal will become the new official heraldry of the neighborhood. You too can participate in this historic process of participatory democracy. Your identity, your vote.
