The iTPC application was created to make content of great cultural interest accessible, even in English, on the currently most popular mobile devices. iTPC represents an absolute novelty as it is possible to make one's contribution in the fight against crimes against cultural heritage and supports the investigative activity of the Carabinieri for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, aimed at recovering lost works of art, guaranteeing the highest level of portability and diffusion to its telematic potential. The application offers the following services: 1. Consult and download the research bulletins: the bulletins of the stolen works of art are publications, created by the CC TPC Command and published by the General Command of the Army, which contain the most important works stolen over time. The bulletins represent a valid tool to combat the illicit trafficking of works of art. This functionality allows you to search for information on the works of art contained therein. 2. Visual search: this visual search functionality allows citizens to choose an image and recognize, in real time, valuable stolen works of art, through the comparison of images with those contained in a dedicated computer archive. 3. Creation of the artwork document (Object ID): The Object ID is an "identity card" of the asset, kept by the legitimate owner, which allows for an exhaustive and photographic description of cultural assets, proving fundamental in the event of theft, as it allows the operating staff to have objective elements at their disposal. for the identification of the asset. 4. Information: this functionality allows you to easily acquire information on how to contact or reach the nearest geo-localized TPC office.
