iHighway is a service that provides traffic information for expressways nationwide. Please use it to help plan your trips, including departure times, routes, and rest stops, and to gather information when road closures occur. -------------------- Main Functions -------------------- ▼Traffic Condition Map You can check the latest traffic information, such as road closures and congestion, at a glance on the map. (Information is updated every 5 minutes.) ▼Email Notification of Road Closure Lifting You can receive an email when a road closure you are concerned about is lifted. ▼Road Closure Work Information You can check the status of work to lift road closures. (This is a service unique to the NEXCO West Japan area.) ▼Heavy Rain Information If there is a possibility of heavy rain that may cause road closures or traffic restrictions, you can see at a glance the sections that require caution. (This is a service unique to the NEXCO West Japan area. Available from mid-April to mid-November.) ▼Snowy Road Information You can check traffic information specifically for snowy roads, as well as current weather and road conditions. (This service is unique to the NEXCO West Japan area. Available from mid-November to mid-April: Winter only) ▼IC Entrance/Exit (Ramp) Closure Information You can check information on ramp closures (where it is not possible to enter the main line from the IC entrance or exit from the main line to the IC exit). ▼Additional Transfer IC Information When a road closure occurs, ETC vehicles can check "designated exit ICs" and "ICs eligible for re-entry" where toll adjustments and discount conditions are automatically continued due to transfers. (This service is unique to the NEXCO West Japan area.) ▼Live Camera Before departure, you can check the current conditions of expressways and service areas/parking areas via live camera footage. ▼Route Search You can check information on road restrictions occurring on the searched road or route. ▼My Route Function By registering frequently used routes/sections as "My Routes," you can check the latest information with one tap. You can also receive information on road closures and accident-related congestion on your My Routes via email. • Scheduled Emails • Real-time Emails - When the road is closed - When the road is reopened - When an accident causing traffic congestion occurs - When heavy rain is warned *Winter only • Real-time Emails - When snow chains are required - When snow chains are lifted - When winter tires are required - When winter tires are no longer required • Snow Road Support Emails -------------------- Recommended Environment -------------------- Android OS 9.0 or higher *However, it may not function correctly on some models. ********************* Caution ********************* • Operating or looking at a mobile phone while driving is prohibited by the Road Traffic Act. • Please have a passenger use it, or stop your vehicle in a safe place such as a service area or parking area on the expressway. • An internet connection is required to use the application. It cannot be used offline (without a network connection).
