You'll receive an action notification via the Burgernet app when something like this happens in your area. Seen something? Your information will be sent directly to the police via the app. AMBER Alert You'll also receive AMBER Alerts via the Burgernet app when a missing child is in mortal danger. You can recognize an AMBER Alert by its orange color and the title "AMBER Alert." About the app The app uses your smartphone's location to send you messages about actions in your neighborhood, even when you're away from home. Participation is anonymous; your information or location is not tracked.
