Joulo | ERE Registration

Joulo makes it easy to earn money with your home charger. Every time you charge, your charging sessions are registered automatically and converted into ERE credits (emission reduction units). These credits are traded through the Dutch emissions trading system (NEa) and the proceeds are paid out to you. What does the Joulo app offer? • Automatic session registration through your connected charger • Insight into your accumulated kWh, ERE credits and CO₂ savings • An overview of your chargers and their status • Indicative earnings per charger • Share your referral link and invite friends Connecting your charger is simple: 15 brands directly through their cloud API (including Tesla, Easee, Zaptec, Wallbox and Smappee) and virtually every other brand through OCPP. Joulo does the rest. How it works: 1. Create an account at joulo.nl 2. Connect your home charger through the Cloud API or OCPP 3. Charge your car the way you always do 4. Joulo registers your sessions and calculates your ERE credits 5. You receive payouts once the credits have been traded Joulo is free to use. We only charge a small percentage of the proceeds from your ERE credits. Joulo is on the official NEa list of registered ERE service providers and, with over 8,500 downloads, is the most used ERE app in the Netherlands.
