AEROS Transfer

AEROS Transfer moves contacts, photos, videos, files and calendar from your old phone to your new one. The transfer goes directly between the two phones over the local network — no cloud, no account, no login. HOW IT WORKS The app is installed on both phones. When you open it, you choose which role the phone should have: ① On the new phone, select "Receive". The app displays a QR code. ② On the old phone, select "Send", scan the QR code and check the boxes for what you want to include. ③ The phones connect automatically, and the transfer starts. You follow the progress on the screen until it is finished. THIS CAN BE TRANSFERRED • Contacts • Photos and videos — saved in the gallery on the new phone with the original date • Files and documents • Calendar entries You choose which categories and which individual files are included. Nothing is sent without your choosing. LOCAL TRANSFER — NOTHING GOES THROUGH THE CLOUD The content is sent directly from phone to phone over Wi-Fi. It never passes through a server at AEROS or anyone else. The app has no user account, no login, no analytics, no ads, and it doesn’t need an internet connection to do its job. WORKS WITHOUT A SHARED WI-FI If the phones are not on the same network, the receiving phone creates a temporary, password-protected Wi-Fi network between the two. The QR code contains the network name and password, so the old phone connects automatically. The network turns off again when the transfer is complete. PERMISSIONS THE APP REQUESTS • Contacts, photos/media, files, and calendar — to be able to read the content you choose to send and write it to the receiving phone. • Nearby devices — to find the other phone on the local network. The accesses are used exclusively for the transfer itself. Nothing is stored or forwarded. BEFORE YOU START Both phones must have AEROS Transfer installed. You can send from an Android phone or from an iPhone. Note that SMS, call logs and app data cannot be read by an iPhone and therefore cannot be transferred. AEROS Transfer is made by AEROS AS for setting up a new AEROS phone. The app does not require a specific model — it works between Android phones that have the app installed.
