ALISIO

ALISIO's main objective is to support people who care for an elderly relative with dependency needs at home, improving their self-efficacy and sense of well-being. In this way, it contributes to reducing the burden associated with long-term care, strengthening family co-responsibility, and preventing caregiver burnout. To achieve this, the current care situation is assessed, and a personalized support plan is provided. This plan includes: training to learn how to provide better care and how to care for oneself; a task organizer that promotes the distribution and coordination of responsibilities with other family caregivers; support from family care specialists to learn how to manage daily challenges; and participation in a caregiver community where experiences can be shared and support found. All of this is offered from a preventative and personalized perspective, aligned with the principles of person- and family-centered care.
