It is designed to enable retailers, marketplaces, and shoppers to verify the identity of products by querying the GTIN or the Global trade item number. This application provides real-time verification of product data, by delivering eight key mandatory attributes directly from the brand owner. These attributes are: product name, company, weight, unit of measure, target market, global product classification, description and the product image. After scanning a GS1 Kenya QR code, you can leave a review of the product, view product certifications and fill in surveys if available.
