TDGG App is the mobile data collection and management platform for Tropical Dairy Genetics Gain Program. It is designed for field enumerators and farmers, and lets you register and manage farms, herds, and individual animals, then record the day-to-day events that drive genetic improvement and herd management decisions - all from a phone in the field, even without an internet connection. Genetic improvement programs depend on accurate, timely records collected directly on the farm - calving dates, insemination events, milk yields, health status. TDGG App replaces paper forms with a structured, validated digital workflow, so field teams can capture reliable data on the first visit and programme coordinators can trust what comes back. KEY FEATURES • Farm & Herd Registration - register farmers, farms, cooperative/group memberships, and herds, capturing the details needed to enrol them into the program. • Animal Records - register animals with tag IDs, birth dates, and species/type details, and keep a full history per animal that travels with it through every future visit. • Animal Activity Tracking - record calving, artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis, and milk yield, with built-in validation to keep records consistent and catch errors before they reach the server. • Cow Calendar - a calendar view of reproductive and health events per animal, making it easy to see what's due and what's overdue. • Campaigns — manage vaccination campaigns and fertility clinic visits, tracking which animals have been reached and which still need a visit. • Visits & Follow-ups - track scheduled visits and follow-up tasks, so nothing gets missed between one field trip and the next. • Nearby Farms - find registered farms near your current location using GPS, useful for planning routes and locating unfamiliar farms in the field. • Quick Access Lists - build your own custom shortcut lists of frequently visited farms, so you can jump straight to the farms you work with most. • Offline-First Sync - all data entry works offline, so poor or absent network coverage in rural areas never stops your work. Sync your queued records to the server whenever a connection is available, with a log screen showing exactly what's pending and what's already been submitted. • My Activity Summary - see a personal summary of your recorded activity, so you can track your own progress over time. • Multi-language - available in English, Swahili and Nepali, with location hierarchies (region, district, ward, village and more) adapted to different countries and programme deployments.
