Flashlight with SOS and Morse code light signals. Offline, no ads, no tracking.

Turn your phone into a fast, reliable flashlight and, when it matters, into a light signaling device. Torch controls your device's camera LED. Beyond plain light, it sends internationally recognized emergency signals in Morse code, so the phone in your pocket becomes a way to be seen and understood in the dark. WHAT YOU CAN DO Switch the LED flashlight on and off with a single tap Send an SOS signal in Morse code Send the alpine distress signal: six flashes in one minute, the internationally recognized call for help in the mountains Send AR, the end-of-transmission signal Send IMI, the "say again" signal, to ask for a message to be repeated Write your own message, up to 30 characters, and have it flashed in Morse code Follow the transmission character by character on a progress bar, and cancel it at any moment Keep an eye on the battery level, shown on screen and highlighted when it runs low WHY A MORSE FLASHLIGHT Light travels where a voice does not. In the mountains, at sea, in a forest or during a blackout, a flashing light can be seen from far away and, unlike shouting, it does not wear you out. Morse code turns that light into a message: SOS is understood worldwide, and six flashes per minute is the distress signal recognized by mountain rescue services. FOR THE OUTDOORS AND FOR EVERY DAY Hiking, trekking, camping, climbing, caving, sailing, fishing, night running Power cuts, roadside breakdowns, finding dropped keys, reading a map in the dark Four languages: English, Italian, German, French Works offline: once installed, no internet connection is needed Light and fast, with no unnecessary permissions PRIVACY No ads No trackers, no analytics, no cookies No account, no registration, no personal data collected Camera access is requested for one reason only: on Android the flash can be controlled solely through the camera. Torch never takes photos, never records video, and never shows or transmits the camera feed. IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE Torch is a support tool, not a certified rescue device. The flash depends on your device's hardware, permissions and charge level, and continuous use drains the battery quickly. Never rely on a phone as your only light source or your only way to call for help: in the backcountry always carry a dedicated flashlight, spare batteries and, where appropriate, a certified emergency beacon. In a real emergency, always contact the official rescue services. FREE, WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED Torch is free. No paid features, no subscriptions, no ads. If you find it useful you can support development with a small voluntary donation, but nothing in the app is locked behind it. PART OF MYTRIPKIT Torch is the flashlight of MyTripKit, released as a standalone app for those who just need the light. MyTripKit is a complete travel and survival kit for outdoor activities: compass with magnetic declination, weather forecast and alerts, avalanche bulletins, sun and moon times, maps, altimeter, air quality, packing checklists and much more. If Torch is useful to you, take a look at MyTripKit. Developer: Marzoli Matteo
