Chadian Arabic Lexicon

This app is a language research tool for the Chadian Arabic language. It provides a lexicon (dictionary) with an alphabetical listing of words in Chadian Arabic. Simply tap a word to see more details about the word, including definition in French and English, and any alternate forms of the word. Alphabetical indices are also provided in both French and English, for looking up definitions. But the search tool is the best way to find information. Tap the search tool and enter a word you want to find, or a portion of a word (make sure to uncheck the "Match whole words" option). The app will look for your word or partial word throughout the entire database, including entries and definitions in all languages. Make sure to check out About in the main menu, which has an extensive introduction to the grammar of the language (in French) and a description of how words are formed from the entries.
